Many of our customers are helping with the Haitian relief effort. It is a rewarding experience to be able to help with such a dire situation. Most general aviation aircraft are not suitable to efficiently carry heavy or bulky items such as food or water; however, light aircraft have proven invaluable transporting medical supplies into smaller airports. Most insurance policies do not include Haiti as part of their
approved territory. Terrorism, acts of war and civil unrest are generally not covered under standard insurance policies. It is important to read your policy if you are planning to fly to Haiti.
